Goat Simulator GoatZ is a standalone expansion to the popular parody game Goat Simulator developed by Coffee Stain Studios. This mobile version does not require the original game to play and places the goat in the midst of a self-initiated zombie outbreak, where it then must survive the ensuing zombie attacks.

The GoatZ and DayZ Connection

The 'Z' in GoatZ is not random, it's a humorous nod to the widely recognized DayZ zombie survival game, which began as a mod for another game (ARMA II). Goat Simulator GoatZ cleverly parodies this, injecting its own unique brand of humor. The game is a sandbox game with two modes, Before and After Outbreak. In the first mode, the goat's mission is to cause havoc by infecting everything in sight and instigating a zombie outbreak. In the After Outbreak mode, the world is already overrun with zombies and the goat's goal is to survive the mayhem. Once you infect someone, they transform into a zombie and will attack you, so quick escape is crucial.

Easy Zombie Outbreak Survival

For those familiar with Goat Simulator, the controls in this expansion will be easily recognizable. The same range of movements, such as using the goat's tongue to grab objects and people, is available. The addition of finding food and avoiding death adds another level of gameplay. There is also a crafting element in the game, allowing creativity in how you combat the undead. Despite the zombie invasion altering the ambiance, the controls remain delightfully quirky and unpredictable. The graphics maintain the same quality, but with longer draw distances, providing a better view of the surrounding area. The soundtrack offers a darker twist to the original game's music.

A Fun Extension of Goat Madness

While Goat Simulator GoatZ doesn't revolutionize the original game, it does add another layer of goat-induced insanity to enjoy. The zombie parody is amusing, especially for those familiar with the references, and the game is packed with surprises to discover during exploration.
